Thylacine Arts Centre aims to be a professionally run organisation providing semi-permanent studio space, regular workshops and an enjoyable environment to create in.
It is also hoped that it will provide an income stream for the North West Tasmania Hospice Charity. It is not a charity in itself, but it will be run according to the principles of a non-profit in that all surplus funds not required for maintenance of the centre will go to charity.
The centre is an accessible space with tea, coffee and dining facilities.
